The architectural heritage of great wealth:

You will discover in the regions many special places :

First, our little village of Brissac with its XII century church, the castle and the suspended village, the basilica of Notre Dame du Suc, the bridge of St Etienne d’Issensac. Brissac is one of the largest and greenest villages in France.

Located in the middle of the Hérault canyon, it is ideally positioned for discovering the surroundings (nature, architecture etc.) while stopping occasionally for a swim, a nice meal or a wine testing experience.

Just 4 kilometres away and you will be in Ganges, a city strongly anchored in the Cévennes history. The old center with its classic houses of the XVI and the XVII century, its nice squares with typical French cafés, its fountains and vouched paths, remind you of its past history as capital of silk in France. Just next to Ganges, you could enjoy a nice drink in the sweet village of Laroque with its terraces on the border of the Hérault river…

A small drive will take you to the bridge and the chapel of St Etienne d’Issensac and just further you will discover St-Jean-de-Buèges, charming medieval village surrounded by cliffs in the superb valley of the Buèges.

Just two villages away through the Canyon, you must see St-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of our most prestigious village with the superb abbey of Gellone, the bridge “Le Pont-du-Diable” from the 13th century and its wondering swimming area. St Guilhem is inscribed as an universal heritage by the UNESCO where you will be visiting

10 minutes away and you could climb the Pic St Loup and discover a breath taking view from the Mediterranean see to the Pyrenees mountains. The city of St-Martin-de-Londres, with its 11 century church, the prehistoric village of Cambous, Claret and the “Path of the Glass makers”, the medieval village of Les Matelles…

At every twist of the road, you will discover some of France’s prettiest villages, spread among vineyards, green oaks, Alep pine trees…

The beautiful city of Montpellier is just 30 minutes away, Nîmes is 45 minutes away to enjoy visits, night out and lots of fun.
